How To Update OpenLegacy IDE License

Normally, the License file is selected during the OpenLegacy IDE Installation Process.
If this step was not performed, the license can be updated from within the API project.

If a license file is selected during installation, it will be added automatically to the API project upon creation.

Update IDE License for New Projects:


  1. Open your OpenLegacy IDE.
  2. Open Help tab and click on Licence View.

  3. Edit OpenLegacy License and replace it with your updated content.



    4. Save the file, the license has been updated.

Update IDE License for Existing Projects:

  1. Open project-name\src\main\resources\application.yml 


  2. Open your license file using any text editor and copy its content into application.yml -> license: -> key: 

  3. Save the application.yml file

  4. The license has been updated.
