IDE Portable Installation Guide for Windows
Prerequisite:
Java Development Kit 11.
If you are installing as a non-admin user, you might need Administrator permissions for the first run.
Step 1: Download the relevant OL IDE zip from the Download Portal.
Step 2: Extract the zip folder.
Step 3: Create an .m2 with a repository.
Create an .m2 folder in user home path.
Extract the .m2repository from
C:\Users\username\Downloads\OpenLegacy-IDE-win64-portable-4.5.3
to .m2 folder.
Change the name of
.m2repository
torepository
At the end, your
.m2
folder should look like this:
Step 4: Update Openlegacy.ini
Go to
C:\Users\username\Downloads\OpenLegacy-IDE-win64-portable-4.5.3
and open the fileopenlegacy.ini
Add the following declaration:
-vm {your java home path}\bin
Step 5: Run the IDE
Go to
C:\Users\username\Downloads\OpenLegacy-IDE-win64-portable-4.5.3
Double click on
openlegacy.exe
and run the IDE.
Click “More info”
Run anyway
Step 6: Choose a workspace and launch.
Your environment is ready.
